The moment a Client Room fits
The work has been prepared internally and is ready for controlled delivery. When separate review or acknowledgement is required, keep it in your firm’s established system. Email attachments create copies; a broad client portal is more than the engagement needs. A Client Room gives the matter one place of its own.

Select Client Room when requesting early access. Room-specific creation defaults are still being introduced through the private preview.

Use your existing approved workflow for comments, acknowledgement or approval; these actions are not yet available in Dossira.

What Dossira does not replace
Dossira is not a legal practice-management system, a project-management suite, an invoicing tool or a live document editor. Use it at the external delivery boundary, with formal review and record-keeping kept in the systems your firm already relies on.

Questions professional firms ask
Can clients enter without buying a Dossira subscription?
Dossira does not yet publish a participant-pricing commitment. In the current private preview, a registered member can share files with an external recipient through confirmed-email PIN verification or an explicitly created share link. Public pricing is still being finalised.
Can we replace a document with a revised version?
You can upload an updated file, but Dossira does not yet provide a complete customer-facing version-history view or an authoritative-version state. Use clear filenames or folders, and expire or revoke an older share when appropriate. Revocation cannot retrieve a copy that was already downloaded.
Can the client upload supporting material?
The current external-recipient flow is for opening shared files, not guest uploads. A registered room member can upload and organise files; use your existing intake process when a client should not be a member.
Can we record acknowledgement or approval?
Not yet. Customer-facing comments, acknowledgements, approvals and decisions are not implemented in the current private preview. Record them in your firm’s established system.
Can the complete matter be exported?
Not yet. Users can download files available to them, but a complete room export with activity, review and closing history is not implemented.
Where is the data hosted?
Dossira is provided by a Norwegian company. Customer data and user identities are hosted on Hetzner infrastructure in Germany and Finland. Dossira does not use AWS, Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud for this hosting.
